IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.IELTS is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work in the UK,New Zealand,Australia,Canada,etc. It is recognised widely as a language requirement for all courses in further and higher education. Easy accessible centres are Trivandrum, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The test is generally once a month.To score well, a good command on grammar and vocabulary is required since poor spelling and grammar are penalised. In the speaking test intonation, clarity of thought and well balanced views are being tested.
The test is made up of four modules, Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. They are timed as follows:
The Occupational English Test (OET)
is a language test for overseas qualified health professionals. The Test assesses English language proficiency as it is used in medical and health professions. The OET is administered by the OET Centre seven times a year and in over 40 locations around the world. The Test measures the language competency of health professionals who are seeking registration and the ability to practise in an English-speaking context. It is designed to ensure that language competency is assessed in a relevant professional context.
Currently the OET tests the following professions
TOFEL-The purpose of TOEFL is to evaluate the English proficiency of applicants, whose native language is not English. TOEFL scores are required for purposes of admission by more than 4,400 colleges and universities worldwide. In addition, government agencies, scholarship programmes, licensing agencies use TOEFL scores to evaluate English proficiency.
The computer based TOEFL test has four sections:
CGFNS Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) extends a helping hand to such ambitious candidates in working toward their goal. The Certification Programme is a three - part programme designed specifically for first - level general nurses educated outside the United States. This exam is being conducted in Cochin and Bangalore and various parts of the world.
Contrary to popular belief, candidates can pass CGFNS, provided they take a systematic exam oriented, training with regular tests, both simulated and written. The duration of our intensive training is two months, for we know that at the first attempt she should pass.

How CGFNS helps:
NCLEX Under the guidance of its membership, NCSBN has developed two licensure examinations used by its Member Boards to test the entry-level nursing competence of candidates for licensure as registered nurses and as licensed practical/vocational nurses. These examinations, the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations, are administered with the contractual assistance of a national test service. The NCLEX Examinations Department is also responsible for practice analyses necessary to support the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examination development process.
Entry into the practice of nursing in the United States and its territories is regulated by the licensing authorities within each jurisdiction. To ensure public protection, each jurisdiction requires a candidate for licensure to pass an examination that measures the competencies needed to perform safely and effectively as a newly licensed, entry-level nurse.
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) develops two licensure examinations, the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses and the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses that are used by state and territorial boards of nursing to assist in making licensure decisions. The online NCLEX-RN training program in our fully computerised class rooms gives test takers the real experience of RN examination and sharpens their skill in test taking.
SPOKEN ENGLISH These courses aim to improve your fluency and pronunciation in English through developing particular skill areas.Spoken English is designed to help students develop their ability to use everyday English. Our classes offer a balance between teaching and practice of grammar, and the use of English in structured conversations and other activities designed to simulate real life situations.
